SYHA Hostelling Scotland is a self-funding charity for the benefit of all those wishing to learn and experience what Scotland has to offer. They provide affordable, comfortable, safe, and quality-assured accommodation. SYHA Hostelling Scotland is a member of Hostelling International.
As a not-for-profit organization, a temporary membership of GBP 3.00 per person per night is charged per guest on arrival but is free to students (relevant ID is required) in full-time education or children under 16.
When you book a bed you are booking a bunk bed within a shared dormitory with other people with shared facilities per dorm.
No stag or hen parties permitted at hostel.
From the age of 5 to 15 years, young people must be accompanied by a parent or guardian and may be accommodated in a single gendered shared room with the parent or guardian and other guests, at the discretion and responsibility of the parent or guardian. The young person/people, the parent/guardian, and the other occupants of the room must be of the same gender. SYHA advise that additional notice be given to the destination Youth Hostel when travelling with children, to ensure that suitable accommodation is available.

From the age of 5 to 15 years, young people must be accompanied by a parent or guardian and may be accommodated in a single-gendered shared room with the parent or guardian and other guests, at the discretion and responsibility of the parent or guardian. The young person/people, the parent/guardian and the other occupants of the room must be of the same gender.
When booking for more than 9 persons:
100 percent of the total amount may be charged any time after booking.
Please note the following cancellation charges will apply to the entire booking:
57 days or more - 20% of total cost
56 to 29 days - 55% of total cost
28 to day of arrival - 100% of total cost
SYHA advise that additional notice be given to the destination youth hostel when travelling with children, to ensure that suitable accommodation is available. Contact details can be found on your booking confirmation.
Parties with young children (under 5 years) will only be accommodated in designated family rooms, where available.
There is no capacity for extra beds or cots in a shared dormitory or private accommodation.
No stag or hen parties are permitted at any youth hostel.
Depending on location check-in is either 15.00 or 17.00. Please check these times as stated on your reservation (or on Booking.com) before arrival.
SYHA does not accept American Express cards as payment or guarantee.
Should guests be entitled to a refund or part refund please note that these are processed by SYHA National Office, Stirling. It will take 7 to 10 working days from the date of the property receiving guest's request for the refund to be processed back onto the original card used. Please inform

蔡總統在臉書寫下，「今天總統府來了一位很特別的客人，就是大家都很熟悉的傅達仁大哥。在人生的這個階段，傅大哥對生命有他深刻的看法和見解。這段時間以來，他寫過幾次信給我，前幾天，我特別請同仁邀請傅大哥來總統府一聚。我告訴他，尊重病人醫療自主，保障善終的權益，一直是政府努力的方向。所以，不管是安寧醫療，或是將在2019年1月施行的《病人自主權利法》，都是希望讓末期病人或符合《病人自主權利法》規定的病患，能夠有尊嚴而安詳地離開人世間。」

對於此次會面，蔡總統相當有感，「在下午的談話中，傅大哥既表露出對生命尊嚴的堅持，同時，也不停轉頭過去看著陪他來的夫人和兒子。我告訴他，社會上很多人不捨他的辛苦，另一方面也捨不得他離開。傅大哥的家人在一旁看著他，內心的感受想必比任何人都複雜，這就是生命的艱難。我希望透過這場對話，能夠給傅大哥和他的家人更多的關心和溫暖。」最後，她不忘為傅達仁及傅家人打氣，「傅大哥加油，傅大哥的家人也加油。」
